Performers: Adjusting your Audio and Video Settings
There are several options available to you when broadcasting on Stageit. See below for the standard broadcasting ability of our web client:
Audio Settings:
The web client accepts and delivers a mono signal. If you would like to broadcast a stereo signal, please refer to details of a desktop client.
- Source: Allows the selection of the available input sources
- Quality: Decreases or Increases the quality of the Audio
- Mute: Unchecked allows the audio to be heard. Checked blocks the audio from being heard.
Video Settings:
StageIt uses a Flash broadcaster. The bit-rate tends to be between 200kbps (.2 mbps) and 700kbps (.7 mbps). Shows with less motion tend to be more toward the lower end. Shows with more motion tend to be more toward the higher end.
- Source: Allows the selection of the available input sources
- Quality: Decreases or Increases the quality of the Video.
- FPS: Increases or decreases the Frames Per Second.
- Enable Video: Unchecked blocks video from being seen. Checked allows video to be seen
- Widescreen: Allows for 16:9 cameras to present 16:9 video. In some camera cases, it will merely zoom in on the image if the camera only provides 4:3.
- HD: When selected gets a 640x480 (640x360 when widescreen is enabled) video feed from the camera instead of 320x240 (320x180 with widescreen).
