Performers - Advanced Production: Example multi-camera production

This is an example of a complete production setup for a multi-camera venue shoot.

3-4 camera HD shoot with onsite camera switching/direction and SD or HD/SD live-stream delivery.

PRODUCTION DEVICE

Camera switcher (Tricaster, AnyCaster w/ composite out, Black Magic w/ composite out, etc)

receives 3-4 SDI inputs for video

receives stereo audio from board

Camera switcher operator/director

COMPUTER (if not using Tricaster)

4-8GB RAM

2.4 or higher CPU

Windows 7 or MAC OS 10.6.x or later

Firewire port - 9 pin

Canopus ADVC (or similar) device

BNC or component cable to receive video from non-Tricaster camera switcher

Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder or Wirecast (or other such broadcasting software that will send RTMP URL flash content)

Upload bandwidth

Standard Definition 2mbps consistent upload (content upload bit rate of 500-800)

High Definition 5-20mbps consistent upload (content upload bit rate of 1,000-2,500 with allowance for multiple stream delivery for viewer stream options)
