Performers - Basic - Profile / Show: How do I upload a YouTube video?
Stageit and YouTube Videos
You can add a YouTube video to your show page. Alternatively, you can provide a link to a YouTube video or YouTube Channel on your profile page.
- The performance editor page will allow you to paste a YouTube video link so that fans can watch a video trailer without leaving your show page.
- Your profile will allow you to place a link to either your Youtube channel or a single video. The difference here is that your fans will leave Stageit and be redirected to YouTube.
Add a video trailer to your show page.
Post a video trailer to your show's page so fans and soon-to-be-fans can see your video right before they buy a ticket.
- When you create a show, use a direct url to your favorite YouTube video. Please be sure to use the video's URL - not your YouTube channel URL.
- To do this, go to the webpage of your desired YouTube video. Once there, click Share -> Show Options -> Long link -> and copy the "Link to this video"
- Then paste this long link into the performance editor on Stageit when creating your show.
- Be sure to hit save at the bottom of the page.
